 CHILLED BEAM, CHILLED CEILING, RADIANT PANEL HVAC, or any WATER COOLED HEAT EXCHANGER

There are those situations where condensate drip or accumulation can not be tolerated.  Control it using a CONSENSOR with its companion Circuit Module to modulate the cooling fluid flow. Because the CONSENSOR responds so quickly ( 1 second). even before the condensate is visually perceptable, condensate can not accumulate enough to flow or drip before its progression is stopped.  The cooling system capacity can be used to its maximum extent when it may be needed most because the cooling can continue right to the brink of condensation onset.  There is no premature coolant shut down because of instrumentation error or the margin of safety inherent with dew point and humidity based so-called condensation sensors.  CONSENSOR based systems never respond too late — nor too early.

Condensation on your components, printed circuit boards, connectors, and wiring can create a myriad of unpredictable high resistance short circuits which in turn can cause unpredictable mis-behaviors in your system. sometimes destructive in nature.  Often, the condensate will have evaporated and the symptoms have disappeared by the time a technician investigates.  The real cause of the problem may not be discovered.  In many applications, the CONSENSOR can activate heater / blowers to quickly dissipate the condensate formation avoiding the non-destructive circuit mis-behavior.  There are those applications involving high voltage / high power in which the CONSENSOR may need to shut the equipment down immediately to avoid component destruction.

Here is a case where condensation can not only disrupt circuit operation, but enough condensate can accumulate inside the enclosure walls to provide lower resistance paths that amount to a destructive short circuit. often destroying components.  The problem is common in heated or unheated  enclosures exposed to the elements.  A CONSENSOR with its companion Circuit Module can automatically turn on heaters / blowers. but only when needed.  Energy is not wasted by keeping these condensation inhibitors active all the time. only when needed.

Although steps are taken to prevent condensation on the walls of your HVAC system, it does occur. It will often accumulate over a number of such occurrences causing the formation of pools of stagnated water. This becomes the breeding areas for many microbial organisms including Legionella (Legionnair’s Disease) or a large array of fungi and molds — all potentially harmful to building occupants.  Buildings have become uninhabitable. Sick Building Syndrome.

A storage container may experience many changes in its environment and the formation of condensation on its contents is common. This can damage expensive machinery, tools electronic equipment and chemicals. Stored food often rots when the wet conditions continue.

Shipping containers experience changes in environment, whether due to traveling long distances or to weather changes.  It is subject to having condensation form inside its walls and on its contents. The presence of this condensate can spoil a shipment of chemicals, complex equipment, or food such as fresh fruit or vegetables.  A Tell-Tale recorder can resolve insurance issues.

Cargo is often carefully protected from condensation which will form on the ship’s hull and its other structures (ship sweat). Other cargo is more fully protected from condensation which can easily form directly on the cargo itself (cargo sweat). The CONSENSOR can indicate the occurrence of either or both, and, it can identify which it is. The CONSENSOR can serve both as a tell-tale when damage is evident on receipt of the cargo.  Better yet, it can be used to control, or at least, to alert the ship’s crew if the ship sweat or cargo sweat is about to damage the shipment. As a tell-tale, when used with a simple elapsed time recording device, the time and duration of exposure of the cargo to the condensation can be used to determine the extent of potential damage.

There are many potential problems caused by excessive dew or condensation in greenhouses. With a CONSENSOR Condensation Control system in place, it can usually be controlled with blowers and/or heaters.

When fog or condensation occurs valuable observation time is lost. or worse, system operation may be impaired.   A CONSENSOR can indicate the condition early enough to initiate corrective action via its companion Circuit Module and avoid lost time and system damage.

Water from incinerated hazardous waste is exhausted as highly filtered water vapor via large exhaust stacks. If temperatures are not carefully controlled, the water vapor will condense on the internal stack walls and pool at the bottom of the stack. A CONSENSOR placed inside those stacks can indicate the condition so corrective action can be initiated immediately. A Fail Safe backup.

The polymer coating manufacturing process is to take place in air which is saturated with water vapor. In this case, the CONSENSOR is used to indicate the absence of condensation which is a warning to increase the water vapor in the air.
